We’re a student-run collective of creators, strategists, filmmakers, and designers who believe in the power of meaningful advertising. Every year, we partner with a real national client through the American Advertising Federation, and build a full campaign from insight to execution, connecting brands to audiences through authenticity, creativity, and emotion.


At Adwave, every member joins one of four specialized teams, Strategy, Creative, Production, and Media, collaborating across disciplines to bring bold, human-centered ideas to life.

From local brands to national clients, Adwave brings ideas to life through research, strategy, storytelling, and visuals.

Each year, our team works from summer through winter to develop a full campaign for a national brand. We meet weekly in GBMs, collaborate across teams, and refine our work through briefs, insights, creative concepts, and production deliverables.


In the spring, we bring it all together at the National Student Advertising Competition (NSAC) — a national showcase where university teams pitch their campaigns to industry professionals.

How To Join!

Recruitment happens every Spring as we build our team for the upcoming year.

We host a series of recruitment events — including info nights, social mixers, and workshops — all announced on our Instagram. Applicants will complete a written application and a short case study as part of the process.

Before applying, think about which team(s) fit your interests.
You can apply to up to two teams, though you’ll ultimately join one once you’re selected for Adwave.
